Make it a Million

Berlin’s biggest fans were asked to make videos and send us their digital ‘love letters’ to the city. Regardless of the form: whether in song, poetry, or a pictorial video with beautiful Berlin images – the creativity had no limits. Read more.

be Berlinternational

The new be Berlin campaign initiative called be Berlinternational is designed to give Berliners – and in particular those who work to positively influence intercultural life in whatever way they can – the opportunity to tell their personal story on our website.


Berlin, dein Gesicht.

In 2010, be Berlin once again focused on Berliners, this time with its Berlin, dein Gesicht  (Berlin, Show Your Colors”) campaign, which showcases people who perform volunteer social work in the city. Hundreds of Berliners have submitted their stories so far. The 204 finalists were then shown in larger-than-life photos on the Siegessäule monument, which was undergoing renovation work at the time.


stadtladen

be Berlin opend a "City Store” in Berlin-Mitte.  The stadtladen is a temporary concept complemented by a constant flow of new, month-long exhibitions based on changing themes, exciting discussion roundtables and a range of events in the fields of art, culture, science and city life.  Find out more!

The big hearts & big mouths Berlin Friendliness Initiative is designed to show visitors that Berliners – in addition to having famously big mouths – are also funny, have lots of practical knowledge and are ready to help at all times. Read more!

Berlin is a city that you simply have to see with your own eyes. This is the message that the be Berlin capital city advertising campaign will bring to the world on its upcoming international tour. Starting in March 2009, Berlin is going on a global expedition to promote its new slogan: “The place to be.” Read more.

Campaign Events

Since its launch in March 2008, the be Berlin capital city campaign has gained tremendous momentum. The campaign’s distinctive red speech balloon and its three-part phrase (be …, be …, be berlin) have long since become a staple in the city’s landscape.
