Berlin Lights up Warsaw
As part of the 20-year city partnership between Berlin and Warsaw, be Berlin will present the "LICHTERWELT BERLIN" (“World of Lights”) exhibition created by Stef Manzini in the Polish capital. From November 25-28, 2011, 100 lanterns will light up Krakowskie Przedmieście Boulevard at the corner of Romualda Traugutta. It will be a unique event to which all visitors and Warsaw residents are invited.
Each lantern contains an energy-saving light bulb and will hang in the trees lining the streets. Together, the lights will create a unique atmosphere and simultaneously an “artistic illumination” of impressive proportions.
