Berlin and Istanbul are celebrating 20 years of a sister-city partnership based on freedom, change and creativity. Over the course of four days, Berlin will present a program highlighting music, business, art, culture and lifestyle from the German capital.

Thursday, June 18

Berlin starts with the concert of a young orchestra composed of musicians from both Istanbul and Berlin in Cemal Reşit Rey Concert Hall.

A conference on ‘Renewable Energy’ with Turkish and German participants will take place on June 19 in Conrad Hotel.

After ‘Kaiserpanoramen’ exhibition in Kadıköy Culture Center the reception hosted by İstanbul Modern that will be participated by mayors, exhibitions and outdoor film screening events.

The citizens of Istanbul will also be able to write their creative messages about Berlim on the “Wall of Berlin” that will be installed outside the Istanbul Modern.
