In October 2011, be Berlin launched 'A Great Place to Live,' a campaign that emphasized the special features which make the quality of life so good in the German capital. Berlin has managed to overcome the negative side-effects of a large urban area with millions of residents by setting natural counterpoints. The new 'city of opportunities' theme will expand on the livability campaign, adding extra aspects to the equation. After all, Berlin isn't only a particularly splendid place to live. It also provides companies with an outstanding gateway into Europe's largest economy while at the same time offering them the best conditions for funding within the EU.
